BRAKE PAD TESTING MADE EASY

A simple idea, but one that makes measuring the thickness of your brake pads a breeze! No need to remove the wheels and even if you cannot see the pad material, this Brake Pad Thickness Gauge from Laser Tools (part number 6678) lets you check the amount of pad material remaining in a matter of seconds.

At last weekend’s Goodwood Revival, Caterham Cars unveiled the new, limited edition Seven SuperSprint as part of its 60th-anniversary celebrations.
Reflecting the anniversary, sixty SuperSprints destined for the UK and European markets are on sale (although by the time you read this will probably all be sold!), completing the pair of special models that have topped and tailed the anniversary year. ROADRUNNER UP AND RUNNING

Popped in to see RoadRunner Racing in Brough, East Yorkshire this week and was really pleased to see that although the Mazda MX-5-based SR2 manufacturers have had a very tough two-years, they are recovering from a huge factory fire and the company has always been trading there’s a new enthusiasm about the place.
The excellent Lotus Seven-inspired SR2 remains available and RoadRunner boss, Mike Longstaff and his team are busy building a new demonstrator, while they are also on with demo versions of the Le Mans-style LM1 (bike power) and the single-seater SR1, which the company now own the rights to.
