THAT’S SWEET, REALLY SWEEEEEET!

Paul Marriott and Wayne Francis are the men behind the new Sweet Rides Customs who took their show debut at Stoneleigh last weekend.
Their colourful stand featuring Paul’s outstanding MEV Rocket attracted lots of visitors. The duo can offer carbon and GRP parts such as seats and wings, painting and hydro-dipping among many other services.
The parts seem right as do their prices and they were extremely happy with the response to their new venture at the show.

PLUG AND PLAY FOR MX-5

When kitcar owners/builders are looking for a nice set of gauges, instruments or gadgetry for their cars they invariably head for Digital Speedos’ website or stand a various shows around the country.
Their latest introduction is a Mazda MX-5 speed sensor that means you can use the standard speedo cable without mucking around as it’s a simple plug and play unit that costs just £35 inc VAT.

Exciting new launch at Stoneleigh this week is the GTB from new manufacturer, A Nu Dimension, which turns a sheddy Porsche Boxster (986 generation) into a 911 GT3 lookalike.

A new range of ultra-lightweight throttle body kits are now available from Jenvey Dynamics. Plug leads take a lot of abuse, especially from engine heat as they are right there next to the exhaust, it’s the poor old spark plug boots that get it the worst. Often they’ll give up before the rest of the wire set does.

NEW OLD FORD STUFF FROM BURTON POWER

Burton Power is now offering a manifold to allow a single DCOE or DHLA carburettor to be fitted to almost any engine that uses the DGV or DGAS carburettors.
The adaptor manifold is suitable for use on the Ford Essex V6, SOHC Pinto and Kent Crossflow GT engines. The manifold converts the carb orientation from down-draught to side-draught to avoid any bonnet clearance problems that might occur with these larger carbs.
