We’ve mentioned Race Car Replicas in NEWS this week but there’s another leading US kitcar manufacturer active in the UK. Whereas RCR trades directly, from the States, Factory Five Racing has an official UK distributor in the form of Dorset-based Tech Autos run by the incredibly helpful and enthusiastic Dan Walsh.

He can offer most of the FFR range to UK customers including their Mk4 Roadster, 289 and Type 65 Coupé.

Dan told me: “All of our Factory Five cars are assembled at our own workshop and delivered to the customer’s door with IVA and registration documents completed – all they need to do is plan their first route!
“Many of our customers prefer to have bespoke cars. Whatever personal touches they want to add, we’ll work with them to deliver the car of their dreams.”
