For serious tool collectors, this new Cross Torque Wrench from Beta Tools [part number 610X/4] is going to appeal. It doesn’t just look a quality item it is practical too as Beta claims that it makes removing/refitting wheels a lot faster.
It has four pre-sets that are what Beta says are the most common torque wrench settings – 90Nm, 100Nm, 110Nm and 120Nm ± 4 per cent for accuracy.
You can also switch the ½in-square-drive wrench mode to the ‘C’ position and just use the tool as a good old fashioned wheel brace. A lovely item. Available now at £168.
