So, the National Kit Car Motor Show at Three Counties Showground at Malvern has come and gone for another year.
What was it like? Speaking as I find, I think it was a very good show. From our point of view our stand was busy all weekend and we sold a load of new and back issues, which is all we can ask…
On this page, we have some of our favourite images from the show.

HAWK CARS STAND WAS WONDROUS TO BEHOLD

BAT CARS’ RB200 went down well

GTM ENGINEERING

Morton Motor Company and their new mid-engined Mongoose looked great. A collaboration between Ed Morton and designer Robin Hall

AK Sportscars had examples of their range at Malvern including their beautiful D-type replica

QUANTUM’S MAZDA MX-5-BASED LMR-141

Turismo impressed

Tornado had examples of their fine TS40 GT40 replica on their stand

Crendon CR427. Superb

Latest addition to the Crendon Replicas kit is that the company’s Nitron dampers now wear the ‘Crendon Replicas’ legend. Nice touch.

I was totally smitten by this glorious Vincent MPH, out in the club fields

Great British Sportscars stand featured lots of treasure, including this lovely example of the GBS Zero

MK Sportscars’ stand was popular as it always is. The Indy is one the industry’s flag bearers.

MK has recently started offering the Durapower (Power Torque Engineering’s engine) 1.8-litre unit, which gives about 130bhp

Smart-looking Porsche 911 GT3 RS, yes? Well, it is a Porsche – albeit a Boxster, wearing one of ANU Dimension’s body conversion kits!

What a smart-looking TVR 2500

As usual, the beach buggy club filled their club stand. Metalflake in abundance here!

Great to see Michael Farrow’s Equilbrium (ex-MEV) Sonic at the show. Demo cxar looked great

The iconic Scamp Motor Company was at Malvern. Matt and Robin were there with their new Suzuki Jimmy-based model. More on this one, soon.

David Simmons of Drive Gecko was at the show with an original Gecko but armed with information about his forthcoming all-new Abarth 595-based, longer and wider version. Sounds good to me

Paul Wylde and his colleagues at the Minikits club had a super display, including this fine-looking rarity, a BIOTA! Bravo

How good was the Animoto? They only made twelve of the Fiat Seicento-based kit. This one belongs to Rob, who uses it as his daily driver, in all weathers. He is seen here with his much-loved little bolide

A Kingfisher Sprint? You bet. More big ups to the Minikits crowd

There are so many reasons why I love the DJC V-STORM. This is a customer-built little beauty

New merchandise range from MK Sportscars!

Nice!

Ginny, Jay and Martin of Simtek UK are clever folks
