Here’s a fun item. Goodyear has recently begun upcycling – if that’s the correct description – its old racing tyres and turning them into stuff like coffee tables, stools and even ice buckets!
They supplied F1 tyres between 1965-1998 and still hold the record for race wins, which stands at 368! The brand is also involved in many other formulae too.
The tyres they are recyling into these items were specifically used in the World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series in the LMGT3 class and are Goodyear Eagles measuring 70 x 35cm.

You’ll be pleased to hear that each one has been cleaned and had a coating of sealant applied to them and you even get a certificate of authenticity.
You can have them fitted with casters, little wheels or table legs, while you can add a leather cushion, a stainless-steel bowl or a piece of tempered glass for the ultimate coffee table effect.

At £150 I don’t think that’s too bad especially given that your tyre could have been used at le Mans!
