Meaco has launched the DD8L Pro, a smart desiccant dehumidifier designed to control moisture in cold or unheated spaces such as boats, caravans, garages, basements, cellars and conservatories.
It helps protect interiors from damp, mould and corrosion, and also provides an effective way to dry clothes indoors. The DD8L Pro is Meaco’s fastest dehumidifier yet for drying laundry, making it a strong choice for indoor use during colder months.
The DD8L Pro is the successor to Meaco’s best-selling DD8L.
The new model offers faster performance, quieter operation and Wi-Fi app control, while maintaining the same low-temperature efficiency that made the original so popular.

The DD8L Pro works efficiently in temperatures as low as 1° C, making it well suited to unheated or poorly insulated areas. As it runs, the desiccant system naturally emits a small amount of warm air. While its primary function is moisture removal, this secondary warming effect can help make cold spaces like cabins, garages and workshops feel more comfortable. Users can adjust the drying power to suit different conditions.
Smart control and simple setup
Wi-Fi connectivity and the Meaco app let users monitor and control humidity remotely, ideal for second homes, moorings and seasonal storage. The DD8L Pro offers three selectable power modes, giving users the choice between faster drying or quieter, lower-cost running.
Smart Energy Mode automatically balances energy use and comfort. A Chase Display gives a real-time visual of how the dehumidifier is working towards its target humidity, with on-screen guidance that removes the need to interpret error codes.
