Our good friends at Woolies Trim have all the items you need if you are repairing or refurbishing seats in your kit or classic car such as Pirelli webbing is ideal for building and repairing seats and it can be attached to frames using the wire clips and staples and plates which Woolies also sell.
The rubberised webbing is available in 38mm (1 1/2in) wide and 50mm (2in) wide off-the-roll from £7 per mtr inc VAT.
Pirelli wire clips and staples/plates help to secure the webbing which can be attached by looping it round the wire clip (part no. 423) and securing with the plastic plates and wire staples (part no. 424). The wire clips then hook in to the seat frame.

Rubberised horsehair is great for putting in a seat to give good firmness along with seating foam. It is available in sheets 6ft x 3ft (183cm x 91.5cm) and is 1in (25mm) thick and costs £48.50 per sheet
Woolies seating foam is excellent quality (to combustion Mod. BS5852) and is available in a variety of thicknesses 1/2in (13mm), 1in (25mm), 1.5in (38mm), 2in (50mm), 3in (75mm) and 4in (100mm) thick. Also available in different sheet sizes.
The 4in foam cushions are good value for money and are ideal for seat bases 56cm x 51cm x 10cm thick at £22.00 per cushion.
Other items you may need when putting a seat together are sundries such as calico, hessian and wadding.
