WELDED TO IT
Merlin Motorsport has an exclusive manufacturing supply arrangement with Vixen CNC Ltd and can supply these excellent weld-on fittings that are only available from Merlin.
The components are precision CNC-machined from aluminium alloy 6082 – T6, with excellent corrosion resistance and very good weldability.
This newer higher strength alloy has replaced 6061 in many applications. Typically, 6082 is used where there’s high pressure or forces such as trusses, bridges, cranes, transport, skips etc.

The range includes bosses of various thread configurations (UNF, NPT, BSP and JIC), weld-on bayonet filler necks and caps and weld-on dip tube bosses.
