There’s no Beetle like a lowered Beetle, and now GAZ is offering special short front dampers for lowered Beetles made from 1965-79.

The dampers will also fit the Karmann Ghia and Beetle 1300A and 1500A from 1967-79 and therefore any kitcars and beach buggies using those components.

GAZ GT Dampers will provide variable bump and rebound rates which can be adjusted to suit the conditions and driving style. The damping rates can be altered by means of an easily accessible knob on the side of the units.

GAZ can set the dampers up for general road use and they will also be suitable for occasional track slalom and sprint use or they can even be set up for serious racing use if you wish.

The units feature a zinc plated body and a protective plastic sleeve to keep them looking good and working well for long into the future.

All units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two-year warranty.

The GAZ GT short front dampers for the VW Beetle can be ordered as GT6-5062 and retail at £72.69 inc VAT each.
