A survey undertaken by AlloyGator, manufacturers of the award winning alloy wheel protection system, across its fitting network, has identified pothole damage, or risk of pothole damage as the number one reason motorists are heading to their local workshop and getting a set of AlloyGators fitted to their vehicle.

WIND BACK TIME

Facom has launched an updated version of one of its best-selling automotive tools, the DF.17-100A air-driven brake caliper wind-back kit.

Comprising a pneumatic cylinder and a set of adapters, the kit allows users to return the brake piston into the caliper quickly and easily to provide clearance when fitting new brake pads. World of Speed, a non-profit motorsports exposition, run by tkc mag contributor, and former Custom Car editor, Tony Thacker has purchased an 80,000 sq/ft  building in Wilsonville, Oregon., as the permanent home for  a motor racing and performance car tourism destination.

Jenvey Dynamics has just launched their TFP range of throttle bodies, which have been designed specifically to replace downdraft carburettors to facilitate a conversion to EFi.

These throttle bodies are suitable for a wide range of applications although ‘V’ configuration engines immediately spring to mind. In fact they are suitable for almost any downdraft application subject to there being a suitable manifold available.
