The new Power-TEC 92750 Multi-Head Cordless Polisher Kit gives bodyshop technicians a highly versatile polishing system in one compact 12V tool, with three interchangeable gear heads covering everything from small spot repairs and PDR finishing through to larger polishing and refinishing work.
At its heart is a six-speed brushless motor with digital speed display, but it’s the interchangeable head system that sets the 92750 apart. Rather than requiring separate polishers for different types of work, the technician simply selects the head, backing pad and polishing pad best suited to the job.
Three gear heads are supplied. The DA12 dual-action head operates from 2,500–5,000rpm with a 12mm eccentric throw and accepts 50mm and 75mm pads, providing a controlled DA finish. The RO-L rotary head operates at a lower 600–1,200rpm with 50mm and 75mm pads for low-speed, high-torque polishing.
For precision work, the RO-H rotary head runs from 2,500–5,000rpm and accepts compact 15mm, 20mm and 30mm pads, making it ideal for small areas and detailed finishing.
That combination makes the 92750 particularly useful for modern bodyshop repairs where the area requiring attention may be relatively small. Spot repairs, localised paint correction and the final stages of a PDR repair don’t necessarily call for a conventional full-size polisher; the compact Power-TEC system allows the technician to match the tool closely to the area being worked.
Cordless operation also removes the restriction of an air line or mains cable – useful when working around a vehicle, in confined areas or on horizontal surfaces such as roofs. Two 12V lithium-ion batteries are supplied: a lightweight 2.5Ah battery for jobs where keeping tool weight to a minimum is important, particularly overhead work, and a 5.0Ah battery for extended polishing sessions.
The comprehensive kit includes 15 polishing pads, 15mm, 20mm, 30mm, 50mm and 75mm backing pads, 40mm and 80mm extension rods, a brush attachment and the necessary locking keys. A twin-dock mains charger allows both batteries to be kept ready for use, with charging taking approximately 1.5 hours.
Everything is supplied together in a soft-shell storage case, giving the professional bodyshop a compact and highly adaptable cordless polishing system that’s ready for anything from precision spot work to larger-area finishing.
The Power-TEC 92750 is CE, UKCA and RoHS compliant. An EU charger is also available separately (part number 62930).
