Ratchets, power bars and T-bars are among the most frequently used tools in the workshop – and often among the most awkward to keep conveniently to hand. The new Laser Tools DriveDock Magnetic Hand Tool Holders (part number 9406) provide a simple and versatile way to keep them organised, accessible and ready for use.
Supplied as a set of three sizes for 1/4in, 3/8in and 1/2in drive tools, each DriveDock forms a secure cradle for the head of a ratchet, power bar, breaker bar or T-bar. The large 1/2in version will also accommodate some slim-pattern 3/4in drive breaker bars, while the holders can additionally be used for storing lever and pry bars.
Powerful N52 neodymium magnets allow each holder to be positioned directly onto a steel toolbox, tool cabinet, vehicle lift or other ferrous workshop surface. Anti-slip rubber pads help keep the DriveDock securely in position and protect the mounting surface, while still allowing it to be quickly removed and repositioned whenever the workshop layout – or the job – changes.
And DriveDock isn’t restricted to hanging tools vertically. Its versatile design allows the holders to be used vertically or horizontally, making them equally useful on the side of a toolbox, on a lift post or laid inside a toolbox drawer to keep ratchets neatly separated and prevent them moving around.
Holding capacities are 3kg for the 1/2in DriveDock, 2.5kg for the 3/8in and 1.5kg for the 1/4in. A central screw mounting hole is also provided, allowing permanent installation on suitable non-ferrous surfaces where magnetic mounting isn’t possible.
Manufactured from tough, durable PA6 nylon, the three-piece set is ideal for organising Laser Tools ratchets and power bars as well as other commonly used workshop hand tools.
