Mini Spares has upgraded the design of its own primary gear for A-plus 1275 engines.
Now the genuine Mini Spares primary gear has an easy-change front floating bush held in by a circlip to save on future servicing costs. The oil slinger is no longer fitted.
Part number DAM8890 A+ 29 Tooth Primary Gear provides for end float clearances from .0035 to .0065. Retail price is £172.80 inc VAT.

All genuine Mini Spares primary gears can also be purchased as part of a kit with the appropriate fitting seals, washers and clips included. The fitting kits are also available on their own.
Individual fitting kit part numbers run from PGFK1 to PGFK4 and retail at £4.26 each inc VAT.
