Chris Hamilton at Crafted Classics Tuning in deepest Suffolk is well-known, among other things for building and tuning superb A-Series engines. He’s the man supplying Mythron Cars with their beautiful 1380cc engines for the company’s Sebring Fastback (it’s the front cover star of the forthcoming May/June issue).
Chris also has a serious repuation for all things Classic Mini including his own reimagining of the icon with the Mini Café Racer – basically, he’ll source you a donor Mk1 or Mk2 Mini and will completely strip it down and refurbish/replace what is needed.
He’ll then rebuild the car to your specification. If you can dream it and of course, can pay for it, Chris will build it for you. Then of course, choose how you want Your A-Series and he’ll build it from from standard power (why/!) right up to 140bhp, if you wish.
