Morris Lubricants (how many hundreds of thousands of Beetle engines have been running on their oil in the UK?) has just announced three new fuel additives – Petrol Fuel Treatment is designed to enhance combustion efficiency, improve cold starting and eliminate ‘pinking’/pre-ignition in petrol engines.
The other two are DPF Cleaner and Diesel Fuel Treatment. As I can only think of about five diesel-powered kitcars in 40+ years of doing this job, I think it’s the Petrol Fuel Treatment that will the one to interest our readers.
The product also sorts out ethanol-induced corrosion and in older cars that don’t have fuel injection it will help prevent your carburettor from freezing up.
