Another incredibly busy – but enjoyable – month – for our friends at Great British Sportscars.

Straight after their recent (incredibly busy) GBS Cars & Coffee event , some of the GBS team headed down to Goodwood Motor Circuit, where they were invited to showcase their brand-new Zero EV (see it in the Nov/Dec 2025 issue of TKC MAG) at the Greenpower International Finals 2025 on Octover 12.
The event was hosted by the Duke of Richmond and Gordon and GNBS co-director, Ruth Hall told me: “It was an honour to be involved with the event.”

The Greenpower Education Trust is a UK-based charity that inspires young people to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through motorsport.
Students design, build and race their own electric cars in a national and international series, developing real-world engineering, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Ruth again: “We had a fantastic day supporting the event and were incredibly impressed by the talent, skills and engineering on display from all of the teams competing. The passion and innovation shown by the students is exactly what the future of engineering looks like.

Recent Cars & Coffee event was one of their busiest yet. A great way to enjoy a Saturday morning. Next one is at GBS Towers on December 6. All welcome
“We were especially proud to see St George’s Academy from near us in Sleaford achieve 3rd place! We have supported them for some time and their students have visited the GBS factory on several occasions to see what we do and to gain engineering tips, so it was brilliant to see their hard work recognised on track.”
The new Zero EV demo car was on display for the very first time and it attracted a huge amount of interest throughout the day.
As it happens, the GBS Zero range is an ideal platform for student build projects, offering a hands-on way to learn key principles in motorsport, vehicle dynamics, fabrication, engineering, factory tour opportunities and more.
“We are proud to support the next generation and were delighted to have been invited to the Greenpower International Finals and are proud to support such an inspiring initiative. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Greenpower and helping develop the next generation of engineers. See more here about our Educational builds and what we can offer.” Ruth told me.
