Fitting a quick-shift gear stick to your kitcar is a quick and easy modification that really improves the feel and speed of gear changes due to the shorter and more direct throw.
Up until now the only complete quick-shifts on the market have all contained steel spherical bearings. This makes them perfect for competition use but, unfortunately, at certain RPMs the steel bearings will start to vibrate and rattle which can be painful on long road journeys.
To solve this vibration problem, but still retain the positive and direct gear change, Burton completely redesigned the quick shift and replaced the steel bearing with a high vibration dampening nylon spherical bearing.
