The standard coil that came with classic Minis can only do so much. When compression is raised (as in most high-performance engines) or improper fuel mixtures occur something more robust is needed.
Mini Spares has the answer with the Lucas DLB105 coil from the company’s Authentic Classic Range. This coil is a big improvement over the stock version and is a direct replacement. However, it must be noted that it can only be used on Minis (or kitcars based on …) up to 82/83.
The coil comes with nuts and washers, as well as one single spade and two double spade connectors.
