Mini Spares has just introduced a pair of original style ‘tin’ (actually pressed steel) rocker covers to renovate any A series or A+ engine without the work and expense of repairing and repainting the existing rocker cover.
The Mini Spares rocker covers are available in two versions: either the green that is generally associated with BMC and British Leyland engines and comes with a smart chrome oil filler cap. Or there is a semi-gloss black version that has a matching black filler cap.
Both rocker covers retail at £27 each inc VAT, which is likely to be cheaper than the cost of repairing and repainting the original, not to mention the time saved.
The green version can be ordered as part number ROCKERCVR05 and the black as ROCKERCVR04.
