It’s a fact; summer temperatures are getting hotter. This can cause some serious radiator problems, but Design Engineering Inc (who is based in the USA where extreme temperatures are more common) have a well-tested remedy …

DEI’s Radiator Relief™ is a high-performance coolant additive that ‘supercharges’ the radiator by transferring heat more efficiently through the radiator to prevent overheating.

Radiator Relief is designed to reduce the coolant’s surface tension, which maximises the thermal conductivity and transfer process through the cooling system.

This coolant additive has been proven in the desert heat of the Southwestern United States. It will reduce engine operating temperature by as much as 17°C thereby reducing engine wear and improving reliability.

This new blend is compatible with all types of anti-freeze mixtures and includes an anti-foaming agent to improve the heat transfer process.

Radiator Relief contains a corrosion inhibitor that balances the negative acidic effects that can develop over time in antifreeze and water solutions and stabilises the pH level to reduce rust, prevent electrolysis, mineral deposits and scale build-up from forming, thus reducing the chances of overheating and potential radiator core damage.

The product can be used in all water-cooled engines (a special version is available for diesels). It is safe for all alloys including aluminium, it is 100 per cent biodegradable, water-soluble, non-corrosive and non-toxic. No pre-mixing is required.

For petrol engines order as part number 40200 and for diesels order as 40204.

Both versions have an RRP of £7.85. It is available via a number of outlets in the UK including www.nimbusmotorsport.co.uk ENDS.
