Having heard about – and spoken to Quantum boss Rob Hancock during development – the new Quantum LMR-141 I was very impressed when I saw the part built new demonstrator at Newark and I wasn’t the only one, either.

NEW LMR 141

He managed to get to Newark by the skin of his teeth and only left Devon at 3am on Saturday morning just in time for the start of business at 9.30am!

Why ‘LMR-141’? Well, LMR stands for Le Mans Racer with 141 denoting ‘1 donor for 1 racecar’. Simple really.

Rob has shortened the original Replicar ‘shell by 14in and narrowed it too, while doors have been slightly re-positioned in the original bodyshell and made other changes such as moving the doors back. However, the Replicar ‘shell remains available.

Revision of the Stuart Mills-designed Replicar, which remains available

The result is a coherent-looking package which remains based on the Mazda MX-5 donor car. Kits are priced at £7295 and feature spaceframe chassis, aluminium internal panelling, GRP bodyshell (various colours available). The ANC Replicar also remains available.

An exciting new arrival that is available now. More information from www.quantumsportscars.com or from the other end of 01364 388 008 ENDS.
