BRAKES FOR YOUR BEETLE OR BEETLE-BASED KIT
Looking to up the safety on your pre-67 Beetle or Karmann Ghia without sacrificing period style? Check out this great disc brake kit from EMPI which is engineered to avoid any wheel offset change.
Designed to work in conjunction with stock spindles and 15in wheels, the kit is supplied with discs, calipers, and brake hoses not to mention caliper conversion brackets and wheel bearings too.
A dual-circuit LHD master cylinder is included, but owners of RHD vehicles will need to source this and a suitable reservoir separately (see details below).
Stocked by Heritage Parts Centre, there are two wide five kits on offer, the first is for 47-65* cars and the second for 66-67. The early kit, part number AC6982880 retails for £689.95 and the later kit, part number AC6982885 is available for £619.95.
