The products of the Japanese car care brand, Coating Farm are now available from Slim’s Detailing and I’ve been putting their Alpha Guard Ceramic Coating through its paces.

The product can be used as a standalone coating that is easy to use, gives outrageous gloss and also 9H scratch resistance. Unlike some products of this type you don’t need to use a special applicator block to apply it as all you do is spray it on (a little goes a long, long way, remember) and buff it off with a clean microfibre cloth.

It smells like a mix between petrol and paint thinners so best use it in a ventilated area but don’t let that detract from its quality.
