Most factory power steering systems were not designed for high-performance use. Aggressive driving combined with upgrades like performance tires and modified steering geometry put a lot of stress on the system, especially from high fluid temperatures.

That’s where Turn One Steering comes in. It makes power steering pumps, steering boxes, and other components that improve steering feel and response for street-driven and race vehicles. Look under the hoods of most NASCAR rides, Formula Drift, and Trans Am Series cars and chances are you’ll find a Turn One pump or box.

Turn One Street Series pumps are brand-new, USA-made GM Type II pumps that are less expensive than an OEM pump at the dealer but are much higher quality than many pumps made offshore. They’re available in universal-fit versions and for C5/C6 Corvette.

SB1 Series Power Steering Boxes
Turn One’s SB1 Series steering boxes are a direct replacement for the factory Saginaw 700 boxes used on GM vehicles from the 1960s through the 1990s. The all-new steering boxes have rack and pinion-style steering technology for better feel and response and are available in three ratios—8:1, 10:1, and 12.7:1.

Summit also carries Turn One power steering pump pulleys in standard and overdrive ratios; flow restrictors to fine-tune steering response; fittings to complete your installation.

Turn One recommends using synthetic power steering fluid with its pumps. Summit Racing carries power steering fluid from Red Line, Lucas, Royal Purple, Driven Racing, and other top-quality brands.
