World of Speed, a non-profit motorsports exposition, run by tkc mag contributor, and former Custom Car editor, Tony Thacker has purchased an 80,000 sq/ft  building in Wilsonville, Oregon., as the permanent home for  a motor racing and performance car tourism destination.

“We’ve been looking for a home for nearly a year,” said Thacker, executive director, of World of Speed. “Our vision is to showcase our amazing car collection in a destination tourist attraction that supports the visitor industry, and inspires young people to explore career opportunities in the automotive industry in a fun and exciting environment.”

In a surprise move, Caterham Cars’ soon-to-be-released, all-new entry-level Seven will be powered by a 660cc, three-cylinder turbocharged engine manufactured by Suzuki Motor Corporation – the smallest and most efficient engine ever installed in a Seven.

Jenvey Dynamics has just launched their TFP range of throttle bodies, which have been designed specifically to replace downdraft carburettors to facilitate a conversion to EFi.

These throttle bodies are suitable for a wide range of applications although ‘V’ configuration engines immediately spring to mind. In fact they are suitable for almost any downdraft application subject to there being a suitable manifold available.

The MB7500 toolbox stack is a substantial new double-wall construction toolbox from Mac Tools with over 29,200 cubic inches of useable storage space available.

Road Track Race recently enjoyed a superb time at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and their range of kitcars received excellent feedback from the 190,000 crowd.

The company even themed one of their tR1kes to suit the occasion and decided on a retro look. After looking at several classic sixties racecars, especially the Lotus 49, they came up with the stunning design pictured here.
