American oil brand Valvoline has launched its Restore & Protect oil in Europe. Its boffins claim that its synthetic formula removes up to 99 per cent of harmful deposits and 78 per cent of engine sludge.
They also say that the oil contains a ‘liquid shield’ additive that helps keep the engine clean and that in tests it freed up stuck piston rings and is available in 0w16, 0w30, 5w20 and 5w30 grades.
