The reversing light switch for three- and four-synchro gearboxes (except for rod change types which Mini Spares can also cater for) is a case in point.
However, it should be noted with caution that there are other ‘replacements’ on the market. Some of these even bear the same GAE131 part number but have the wrong thread and plunger size; these errors can causes seizure, closure or jamming of the switch!
Using the Mini Spares part will ensure the correct functional switch and Mini Spares can also help if you are unsure or need additional items to go with the switch such as: the required 3cm spring (2A3647) and insulating fibre washer and small plug (22G351) in the gearbox. These are needed to activate the switch.
