SHARP STEERING IS IMPORTANT. BURTON POWER HAS A SOLUTION

Owners of kitcars with Ford-spec quick steering racks – not to mention classic Mk1 and Mk2 Ford Escort owners! – will be delighted to hear that Burton Power now offers a quick rack steering conversion.

The rack is manufactured in the UK by steering specialists Kiley Clinton and has been designed for rally/race use in ultimate specification competition.

This steering rack already has an excellent track record and is known to cope with the arduous conditions involved in rallying and comes with Burton’s full recommendation.

The rack comes with metric tie rods, but it will also fit imperial equipped models if the tie rod ends are changed to Part No. QR4118S. Check with Burton Power.

The tie rods are 11mm longer than standard to allow competition cars to run negative camber. The rack can be used with standard suspension setups if the tie rods are cut down to suit.

Specification:

• Right hand drive • 2.4 turns lock to lock • HD bronze bushes • thick tube casing • HD tie rods with M14 threads • all new construction • short stem fitment.

Order as Part No: MP1360 at £485 inc VAT. Also available in 2.2 ratio as part number MP1362.
