FUZZ TOWNSHEND TO REVEAL THE UNTOLD SECRETS OF CAR SOS AT GREAT NORTHERN CLASSICS

Great Northern Classics, the Midlands’ premier automotive hub, is delighted to announce the next instalment in its popular Evenings With series on Thursday, 25th June. TV favourite Fuzz Townshend will take to the stage to share the inside stories, challenges and memorable moments from the long-running Channel 4 hit Car SOS, hosted by fellow automotive personality and TV presenter, Paul Cowland.

Known to millions for his enthusiastic restorations alongside Tim Shaw on Car SOS, Fuzz Townshend will open up about the realities of reviving automotive treasures under the pressure of television deadlines, the emotional stories behind the cars and their owners, and the techniques that have made the show a global success. Attendees can look forward to an entertaining and revealing evening filled with anecdotes, technical insight, and plenty of classic car passion.

The event will also celebrate Fuzz’s remarkable musical career. A talented drummer since his youth, Fuzz has played with some of the UK’s most respected bands including Pop Will Eat Itself (with whom he toured North America supporting Nine Inch Nails), Bentley Rhythm Ace, The Beat, The Wonder Stuff, Pigbros, and Pama International, as well as session work for artists such as EMF. He has also enjoyed a successful solo career, releasing albums including Far In and charting singles such as Hello Darlin’.

Situated in the heart of the East Midlands – Britain’s true automotive heartland – Great Northern Classics continues to establish itself as the region’s go-to destination for enthusiasts. The venue combines a stunning collection of classic and performance vehicles with high-quality events, workshops, and a vibrant community space that honours the area’s rich motoring heritage.
