Coming up on May 17 is the second running of KIT CAR FEST SCOTLAND taking place at the marvellous Dundee Museum of Transport (they are soon to be moving to a swish new home, by the way).
RAPTOR SPORTSCARS IS SPONSORING KIT CAR FEST SCOTLAND

There has always been a huge interest in kitcars in Scotland and I always look back fondly at the brilliant Kit Car Action Days at Knockhill Circuit and The Scottish Kit Car Shows at Ingliston, which were always very well attended.

The Scottish Kit Car Club do a great job and they are supporting the show, while Scottish kitcar manufacturer Raptor Sports Cars is sponsoring the show. I remember a great visit to see Andy and Kirstin Entwistle at their lovely HQ on the Gilmorton Estate close to the former RAF East Fortune.

Sounds like it’s going to be a great day and Dundee Museum of Transport’s Operations Manager, Sonja Nowicki told me:
“Please join us for a high-octane celebration of Scotland’s kitcar scene at Dundee Museum of Transport. Discover replicas and one-of-a-kind builds, meet passionate owners and get up close to unique, handcrafted machines. Proudly sponsored by Raptor Sports Cars, it’s a must attend for car fans and families alike.
“In addition to Raptor Sports Cars, we also have Scottish Kit Car Club as well as individual kitcar owners.”

The event opens at 10am until 3pm, while drivers are welcome to come and go during the day. Anyone bringing a kitcar will get free entrance into the museum and free tea and coffee all day and potentially bacon rolls, based on numbers (that sounds like a deal clincher, to me – Ed)

The fun takes place at Dundee Museum of Transport; Unit 10, Market Mews, Market Street, Dundee DD1 3LA
