A bit classic car orientated but most specialist car fans love an E-type so this one may well be of interest to TKC MAG readers.
Jaguar Classic has made it easier for restorers to resurrect an E-Type with their recent announcement of thirty official factory reproduction parts for the iconic model.
They are built to original sixties specifications and the new items include outer and inner sills (part number BD151342) at £282, front frame sub-assembly (part number C20352) at £684.54.
The panels are built using the original’s Reynolds Technology inspired by their steel bicycle frame production methods and adapted for the E-type’s tubular sub-frame.
All components are recreated from original factory drawings that are converted to into 3D CAD models. They are then fabricated from mild steel and finished in Jaguar’s anti-corrosion eCoat.
The range of parts covers fll models of the E-type, from 3.8-litre and 4.2-litre-powered cars to the V12-engined S3 and, of course, as they are produced by Jaguar they come with a full manufacturer’s warranty.
