New from Summit Racing is a range of oil developed with input from engine builders and racers, Driven Racing XP Series Motor Oil is formulated to withstand heavy loads, high speeds, and high temperatures in oval, drag, endurance and other types of performance racing engines. It also helps prevent sludge formation as well as the buildup of fuel and carbon deposits that can rob engines of power.
XP Series Conventional Oil
These oils have a mineral base stock formulation with high levels of ZDDP that provides outstanding protection for flat tappet and solid roller cam engines. It’s available in two viscosities:

XP8 5W30 works well in high-revving, small block V8 engines with flat tappet cams and tight bearing clearances (under .0027in). It’s also great for nitrous oxide-boosted engines and other applications where high oil film strength, reduced oil consumption, and minimum drag is desired.
XP4 15W50 is for engines built with loose bearing clearances and/or older engines with increased clearances due to wear. It provides excellent protection for engines operating in dirty environments and need frequent oil changes.
XP Series Semi-Synthetic Oils
This oil is designed for endurance engines needing more stability than conventional oil can provide. It has high levels of ZDDP to protect flat-tappet and roller cams from excessive wear, provides excellent thermal resistance and oxidation control, and is well-suited for high-shear areas like piston rings and cylinder walls.
XP7 10W40 is made for engines with tight clearances (under .0030in) that operate at sustained high RPMs. It is also recommended for older original and/or crate engines equipped with flat tappet cams.
XP5 20W50 is recommended for engines with aluminum blocks, high compression, and/or looser bearing clearances. It excels at protecting engines with oil temperatures averaging between 220- to 260-degrees F.
XP Series Full Synthetic Oil
XP Full Synthetic Oil has the most uniform molecular structure of all XP Series motor oils, allowing it to withstand the harshest operating conditions and significantly reduce parts wear. It’s available in three formulations:
Lightweight is recommended for use in modern engines with tight clearances. It delivers fast cold-start flow and superior high-RPM protection.
XP2 0W20 is ideal for small cubic inch, very high-revving and/or restricted airflow engines
XP1 5W20 is recommended for high-RPM and high-output engines with tight piston and bearing clearances and average oil temperatures between 180- to 240-degrees F
Midweight offers excellent horsepower potential for engines high compression, big cams, and aggressive timing. Special anti-wear/friction reducing additives work with all camshaft types and high valve spring pressures.
• XP3 10W30 is recommended for engines with clearances under .0027in and/or engines with aluminium blocks
• XP9 10W40 reduces wear and lowers temperatures on par with conventional 20W-50 racing oils. It works best in steel block engines with looser clearances
XP6 15W50 Heavyweight Oil provides more high-load, high-temperature protection than other XP Series Oils. It works best in engines with aluminum blocks and looser clearances as well as engines used in sustained high-RPM circle track and endurance racing.
