NEW RELEASE – SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2025 ISSUE – OUT NOW

As we head into what is the Autumn issue (September/October 2025) we keep up the momentum with some more quality entertainment for you, the highlights of which are as follows:
BAT CARS – RB200 – Richard Batey is one of the UK’s foremost tattoo artists and one of the newest kitcar manufacturers with his Toyota MR2 Mk3-based RS200 pastiche. We were delighted to be offered the EXCLUSIVE via the first customer car, belonging to Paul Higham. You are certainly not going to miss it in its Porsche Lizard Green livery.

Here’s a Hot Car magazine front cover from 1971 showing some of their regular kitcar coverage
INDUSTRY GREATS – RAY CHRISTOPHER – Ray is one of the greats for sure. He began by building lots of notable hot rods becoming known as The Rodfather for good reason. he then became part of the leading GT40 replica maker, GT Developments plus he also had over 1000 professional wrestling bouts.
V8 STEALTH BEETLE – Perhaps the ultimate Beetle ‘sleeper’? It hails top South African engineer Jean Fourie and it’s great.
ALL ABOUT CYCLEKARTS GB – If you are not familiar with the wonderful and growing hobby of Cyclekarts get ready to be enthralled. These things are intoxicating, fascinating and great fun. They are also closely linked with our hobby

NCF Diamond was a very popular kitcar for about twenty years and, in three generations, they probably sold over 600 of them. However, the company’s best-seller was actually their Blitz model.
LOTUS DUTTON LOTUS – A fascinating tale of the very first Dutton in 1967, the Mantis. Tim based the car on what he was told was a Lotus Eleven. Years later it came into the ownership of Graham Capel, one of the UK’s most notable historic Lotus experts. Something didn’t seem right with the Dutton’s underpinnings. Graham did some digging and finally pieced a curious tale together discovering it was actually based on Lotus Mk8. A fascinating tale.
MEV EXOCET FIRST TIME BUILD – Superb first time build, which sums up the appeal of the Mazda MX-5 Mk3 donor used for the Exocet as JAMES WEBBER discovered.
JUSTIN REEVES’S DAX RUSH – Chef Justin is a serial kitcar fanatic and his latest car is a superb Rover V8-powered example of the DAX RUSH. As with all of Justin’s cars, this one is a corker.
Plus lots more besides …

SNIPPETS 1 …….. With a warehouse spanning 60,000 sqft and more than 4000 products in stock at any given time, JRP Distribution prides itself on its availability and efficient product delivery. However, to keep up with demand, the business has modernised its operation by investing in its warehouse structure.

The warehouse capacity has been expanded with new racking that will provide 15 per cent more space for product storage and even has a robotic pallet wrapper to help the warehouse staff and increase the speed of the packaging process.
JRP Distribution has also invested in additional warehouse trucks to maximise the speed of warehouse operations and continues to increase staff numbers, meaning customers will not have to wait long for their order to be fulfilled.
JRP’s Managing Director, Ollie Page, commented: “We’ve been running as a business for nearly 45 years now and during that time we have had to adapt our systems and processes to suit needs and demands, so this is just the latest update to our business to ensure it continues to run smoothly.

“We recognise that we have an incredibly large product offering and with more continually being added to ranges, we need to be sure that we have a warehouse facility set up to store these, leading to us building more racking and storage to maximise the volumetrics, without disrupting the flow and efficiency of the warehouse.
“We know our customers desire a quick delivery, so all our investments have been to improve efficiency and create a speedier process.”
JRP has a 60,000 sqft warehouse and office in Chichester and supplies more than 4000 market leading products to various markets, with its core business focusing on the automotive sector. Its brands include Autobar, Ecomotive, Simply Brands, J-B Weld, Tecniks, Frsh Scents and Invisible Glass, amongst others.
