VW and Porsche fans in the UK have a few more dates to add to their diaries in 2023 thanks to specialist supplier Heritage Parts Centre announcing they are taking their Heretics meet-ups on the road this year.
On top of three evening events at Heritage HQ in Shoreham-by-Sea on Thursday, April 20, Thursday, June 15 and Thursday, September 7, enthusiasts will be able the enjoy a similar smorgasbord of cool cars and campers at a trio of guest locations around the UK too.

NEW ELECTRIC KITCAR LOOKING FOR A SPARK

A very exciting electric kitcar project could still reach production if a partner can be found. It comes from the talented British-based, Polish designer, Zbigniew Dubiel and is called the Navrot, named after a famous Polish car designer called Cezary Nawrot who designed the Syrena Sport back in the late fifties.
Zbigniew takes up the story: “While creating this design, the biggest challenge for me was to visually connect the new electric powertrain technology with the kitcar community without creating an overly futuristic, or extravagant/extreme design.

Over the years, tightening emissions regulations have forced changes within the petrol industry and altered the formula of standard fuel. Leaded petrol disappeared from UK forecourts at the turn of the millennium, E5 biofuel was standardised in 2019 and in September 2021 the recipe of standard-grade unleaded petrol changed to double the content of renewable, non-fossil ethanol. This petrol is identified by the code E10.
