ALL CLEAR WITH KLEERS

Kleers, based in Kent is one of my favourite car care brands and their Fabric Cleaner is one of my ‘reach-for’ products when I have a stain or stubborn mark on my car’s interior.

There are hundreds of interior trim cleaners but some smell nice but don’t clean; some clean but smell like a public lavatory while some are generally rubbish all-round. I don’t mind paying a bit extra if a product does what it says.

Luckily Kleers’ Fabric Cleaner does exactly that and smells nice too! It comes in a large 500ml bottle with trigger dispenser for a choice of mist More >

YOU CAN DRINK BEER WHILE WEARING THESE GOGGLES IF YOU LIKE! NOT WHILE DRIVING THOUGH.

Their new Sfericum (round!) range (BRF039), which neatly can also be used as sunglasses are as a cool thing. They’d look great when driving a Marlin, NG or a Morgan. DIMINUTIVE DELIGHT RETURNS

Back in 1991, famed designer, Peter Stevens, created the Barchetta 595, a deliciously beautiful take on a Fiat 500 with the roof cut-off, a proper ‘speedster’ style device. It was sold via the Dove Motor Company and about 10 were produced.

Although un-doubtedly a beautiful thing, at 24K the price was a bit steep. We are talking 25-years ago, after all.

Since them several takes on the theme have appeared but the original went to ground thought lost. Well, thanks to a Shropshire-based company run by Mark Hill, that’s about to change as it’s about to make a comeback.

A THING OF SHEER BEAUTY

Caterham  Cars has built a variant of its iconic Seven that was seemingly planned in the mid-1960s but never launched – the Caterham Seven Sprint.

As though dug up in a time capsule, the retro detailing of the Caterham Seven Sprint will delight Seven purists and provides the perfect scene-setter to the brand’s ‘60 years of the Seven’ anniversary, which will be celebrated next year.

The Sprint, priced from £27,995, is finally available to order after the car was launched at the Goodwood Revival, a fittingly retro setting for a car with one wheel firmly planted in the sixties.

NOPE, NO STUD JOKES!

Laser’s new Wheel Stud Thread Restorer Master Kit (part no: 6527) is designed to correctly align and restore both external and internal damaged wheel stud threads. The new master kit brings together two existing sets (5216 is for external stud threads and 6116 for restoring the internal threads on the hub), and thus offers a complete solution.

For external threads on wheel studs and bolts, the split die design allows the two halves of the thread restorer to be fitted to the good thread (normally at the base of the stud). Then the 24mm hex adaptor is fitted over the two More >
