DEI’s Titanium Protect-A-Boots can withstand direct heat up to 1800°F (982°C), and radiant heat to 2800°F (1537°C) – conventional glassfibre material boots can’t take much more than 1200°F (650°C).

The ‘Titanium’ title actually refers to the material’s titanium-like strength rather than what it’s of but these boots are manufactured from pulverised lava rock that is extruded into

fibres and set in an extremely tight weave. This unique material and construction provides added resistance to heat, chemicals, abrasions and contaminants while providing maximum durability and toughness. Tough they may be, but they are still pliable enough to fit most straight or angled spark plug boots of all diameters and lengths.
