1999 Gardner Douglas 427 Euro Description Factory built GD427 Euro. The sublime handling, the ride quality, the build quality and the overall feel of the car is fabulous. A properly prepared, factory built Gardner Douglas is hard to beat. The engine is a Ken Coleman EDA prepared engine built with no expense spared. The engine is a 8:1 compression block built for a forced induction set-up however runs very well without the supercharger. The engine could be converted to a turbo charged application without a problem as the bottom end has been built properly. The engine produces approximately 400hp without the supercharger, with the supercharger running 12psi, the output increases to over 700hp. Specs..... 350 Chevy 8:1 Compression Edelbrock Pro Flo multi point fuel injection Edelbrock performer heads etc etc Serck Racing intercooler and radiator Aluminium 2 litre fuel swirl tank to ensure delivery of fuel on hard cornering and the standard 55 litre GD fuel tank. Twin electric fuel pumps, one to feed the swirl tank, the second high output to feed the beast!! 3:31 Jag diff, the rest of the suspension is the custom GD uprights, with reduced unsprung weight. Uprated Tremec TKOII gearbox to cope with the supercharged power, with brand new clutch to suit. Gardner Douglas 427 Euro Factory built. The supercharger is not currently fitted to the car as some new brackets are being manufactured, although the supercharger will be included with the car if you want 700hp!!!
