FOLIATEC HITS THIRTY-FIVE
Foliatec® is celebrating its 35th birthday and 2017 also marks twenty years since the company launched its brake caliper lacquer.
With the growth in vehicles having brake discs fitted all-round, and thus brake calipers fitted to all four wheels. A downside of that is that alloy wheels have become much larger with thinner spokes thus emphasising the discs and calipers.
Therefore, it’s not a surprise to hear that Foliatec’s caliper paint – available in 25 colours – has been used to transform dirty-grey black calipers into something much more befitting.
No disassembly is required and you follow the straight-forward instructions in the Foliatec box, first using the steel brush and brake cleaner that come included to remove dust and grease.
Then just mix the lacquer with the hardener, give it a good stir and simply brush it on!
You should be pleased with the results.
