The iconic Citroën 2CV needs no introduction, being one of the world’s most instantly recognisable vehicles. Kitcars thus donored are always welcome on these pages.

We all know the tales of its Rolls-Royce levels of ride, which may or may not have been exaggerated but there’s no doubt that a 2CV rode very nicely indeed.

Leading damper manufacturer, GAZ Shocks, has just introduced fully-adjustable GT dampers for the Citroën 2CV to enable the damping bump and rebound rate to be adjusted to suit the conditions and driving style.

They have adjustable damping rates that can be altered by means of an easily accessible knob on the side of the units. GAZ can set the dampers up for general road use and they will also be suitable for occasional track slalom and sprint use, or alternatively they can even be dialled-in for serious racing use if you wish. Several 2CV race series exist around the world, of course.

GAZ dampers feature a zinc-plated body and protective plastic sleeve to keep them looking good and working well for long into the future, while all units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two-year warranty.

The GAZ GT dampers for Citroën 2CV are priced at £78 inc each inc VAT.
