Exhausts UK, a Sheffield-based master of the extraction of gases from your engines (see how I neatly swerved repeating the word ‘exhaust’ there?!) are a company whose work I am seeing more and more as I travel around testing kitcars.

The first example of their work I saw was on Scoobybits’ SDR V-Storm demonstrator and it really was a first class, efficient and cosmetically spot-on job of installing an exhaust to a car that could pose packaging issues to the unwary, thanks to its mid-engined configuration.

Since then, all over the country, I’ve seen cars with an Exhausts UK sticker sitting proudly somewhere on their bodywork or engine bay. They use quality T304 stainless steel and ideally, the company, run by brother and sister, Peter and Rachel Jarvis, ideally like to have access to the car although they can work form (accurate) drawings/illustrations, with a typical turnaround time of just seven days.

Another division of their business is Cobra Sport and they have quality replacement exhaust parts for a large catalogue of production cars, which again offer improved performance, longevity and just look better than the standard items.
